The Brest Stockings Plant, or BChK, released a limited batch of socks packaged in cans just in time for the holiday Day of the Defender of the Fatherland on Feb. 23. The batch of 3,000 cans was available only at the plant's retail stores. Due to their unusual packaging, they sold out in just a few hours, TUT.by reported.
The packaging was chosen not only because of its associations with masculinity but also because of its practical side. The can not only preserves BChK products but the unique container can also later be used for storing different liquids.
BChK is reportedly planning to sell the canned socks in Russia.
