In 2018, a park built in the Chinese style will appear in Moscow’s Ostankino district, according to TASS news agency.
“Instead of a deserted space, there will be a park covering over five hectares,” according to the North East District Prefecture. “Its centre will be marked by an artificial pond that is one thousand square metres and that will be made by creeks running through the park. Near the park’s entrance will be a Chinese restaurant, a tea house and an exhibition complex, all of which will be built in the traditional Chinese style with pagodas.”
In addition, 2,000 trees that are native to Chinese landscapes will be planted in the park. Amongst the trees will be walking paths, wooden bridges and benches for rest.
The park will open in the third quarter of 2018.
