A new record for the number of passengers on one flight was broken at Domodedovo airport. Emirates airline transported 600 people from Moscow to Dubai on a single aircraft, according to an airport spokesperson.

The EK 132 flight was made on the world’s largest passenger jet – the Airbus A380, which has two travel classes and can carry a total of 615 passengers (58 in business class and 557 in coach).

Domodedovo is the only Russian airport to where such airliners regularly travel.

The national airline of the United Arab Emirates is the only airline which conducts flights on the A380 in Russia. It is also world’s largest customer and operator of this type of aircraft.
