Russian Film ‘Loveless’ Keeps Topping Critics’ Rating in Cannes

“Loveless” by Russian director Andrei Zvyagintsev continues to be critically acclaimed at the 70th Cannes Film Festival, according to Screen Daily.

At the moment, 8 out of 19 participating films were presented. Zvyagintsev’s movie stands at overall score of 3,2.

The second place is shared by Todd Haynes’s “Wonderstruck” and Ruben Östlund's “The Square,” - 2.7 points each.

The third position is occupied by “120 beats per minute” by Robin Kampillo with 2,5 points.

Earlier it was reported that “Loveless” got a ten-minute standing ovation during premiere at Cannes festival.
