On the eve of the UEFA Europa League round of 16 match between FK Rostov and Manchester United, a fan of the English giants said that the British aren't afraid of Russians, even though at home they were advised to acquire weapons before going to Rostov-on-Don.
"Russian fans are quite friendly, apparently,” the unnamed English fan said, according to an RT report. “We aren't afraid of them, otherwise we wouldn't come 3,000 kilometres from home. A hundred fans will fly from London on the day of the game and about the same number will come from Moscow. Of course, at home we were warned that it would be unsafe; people even advised us to buy a gun.”
It was earlier reported that about 500-600 English fans were expected to come to the city for the match.
