Moscow Metro Reopens Historic Cafe

The Buffet No. 11 cafe in the Arbatskaya metro station in Moscow reopened on Dec. 27. The historic catering place underwent renovations to maintain its unique retro atmosphere, according to the press service of the Moscow Metro.

Since 1968, Buffet No. 11 has provided hot meals for drivers and passengers, a press release from the Moscow Metro read. Top management figures of the Moscow Metro attend the reopening.

In September 2016, the Moscow Metro opened its first coffee house in the Vystavochnya station, which is also home to the Moscow Metro’s career centre, a technical library, a tour desk and a recruitment centre.
