A photo exhibition marking the 105th anniversary of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts will open in the Metro Gallery on Vystavochnaya on Jan. 20. This was reported on the City Hall’s official website.
The exhibition will feature photographs of sculptures created by Michelangelo, the Capitoline She-wolf and Lucca della Robbia’s Madonna and Child. All of the images are attempts to provide a view of some of the most celebrated art pieces from a different angle. In addition, pictures from the White and Egyptian halls as well as Greek and Italian courtyard museums will also be on display.
The exhibition will run till Feb. 20. To get in, all you need to do is pay the metro fare and pass through the turnstiles.
The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts opened on May 31, 1912.
