Moscow Museums to Offer Free Admission Every Third Sunday of the Month

Several dozen museums in Moscow, including memorial apartments, the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics, the House on the Embankment and the Battle of Borodino Museum-Panorama, will offer free admission every third Sunday of each month.

The list of confirmed museums includes a total of 40 institutions, according to the official website of the Government of Moscow.

The list includes The Museum of History of Moscow, the State Museum of the Defence of Moscow, The Battle of Borodino Museum-Panorama, the Gulag History Museum, Tsaritsyno museum and reserve, the House on the Embankment, the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics, Kuskovo Park and Estate, the State Darwin Museum, the Timiryazev State Museum of Biology and more.

Visitors can also enjoy free access to the memorial apartments of Andrei Bely, Mikhail Bulgakov and Alexander Scriabin, as well as to the museums of Alexander Ostrovsky and Sergei Yesenin.
