"Ne Zarastyot," a free online service that sends its users several poems by the famed Russian bard Alexander Pushkin every day, is now up and running, according to the website Gorky.
During the year, the service will send daily a few selected Pushkin poems that were published during his lifetime. The service is available in English.
In addition, there is an opportunity to subscribe to a daily newsletter featuring fragments of “Eugene Onegin,” Pushkin’s novel in verse. The newsletters are sent out over two months and a subscription costs 59 roubles ($1).
The creators of the service said that they plan to create similar newsletters in the future for different pieces of literature, including Dante Alighieri’s "Divine Comedy,” the Sumerian-Akkadian "Epic of Gilgamesh," poems by François Villon and Li Bo, and ancient classics.
