Moscow’s VDNKh exhibition centre is currently home to a robot that can make pancakes, according to the official website of the Moscow Mayor and Moscow Government.
The robot is hard at work at the Robostation in Pavilion No. 2. It can only make pancakes but its creators want to program it so that it can make cocktails and serve ice cream during the summer months.
The pancake-making robot uses one hand to ladle the dough and pour it onto the pan, and the other hand to flip the pancakes and put them on a plate.
The robot only makes pancakes while supervised for safety reasons, since the pancake pan becomes very hot. Unfortunately, the robot’s pancakes are not ready for public consumption but they will be in the future.
Visitors can see the robot with a guide daily every 15 to 20 minutes from 11 am to 8 pm The robot will be at VDNKh until Mar. 14, 2017.
