Russia and Micronesia have agreed on the introduction of a visa-free regime for travel up to 30 days. The document was published on the official Internet portal for legal information in Russia.
“Citizens of the Russian Federation who do not intend to work, study or reside in the territory of the Federated States of Micronesia are exempted from the requirement of obtaining an entry visa,” the document stated. “The term of such stay shall not exceed 30 days.”
Similar conditions were set by Russia for visitors from Micronesia.
For trips exceeding 30 days, a visa is necessary for both Micronesians and Russians.
