Russia's ambassador in the US Sergei Kislyak said that relations between the two countries in the economic field will develop in a positive manner, despite the current anti-Russian sanctions, reports RIA Novosti.

"There is life beyond sanctions. We see that many US companies working with us feel comfortable and don't intend to change their strategy. I think this will be a positive trend," Kislyak said.

He also stressed that, according to his calculations, US enterprises invested more than $650 million in Russian economy. In turn, Russia invested even more in the US businesses.

Earlier it was reported that economists estimated consequences for ruble in case of US sanctions cancellation.
