London will host Russian Film Week from Nov. 30 to Dec. 4, according to a press release posted on the event’s official website.
The event is part of the UK-Russia Year of Literature and Language as well as the ongoing Year of Cinema in Russia.
The programme includes such movies as Nikolay Khomeriki’s “Icebreaker,” Kirill Serebrennikov’s “The Student,” Yury Vasilev’s “The Heritage of Love” and the joint Russian-Irish production “Moscow Never Sleeps.” Visitors can also participate in a Q&A session with celebrities from the Russian film industry, including Alexey Uchitel, Vera Glagoleva, Renata Litvinova, Anna Melikyan, Alexey Serebryakov and others.
The best films will be awarded a Golden Unicorn in ten different categories. Additionally, the festival will feature two special categories: one for the best foreign film set in or about Russia, and another for promoting Russian culture abroad.
