Retail chain from Russia’s St. Petersburg, oodji, is now hiring a head at their American office.
According to the job offer published on the HeadHunter recruiting service, oodji is looking for the director that will manage clientele and logistics operations and promote e-commerce marketing activities in the United States.
In addition, oodji is looking for an English to Russian interpreter to work in St. Petersburg's headquarters, while retailer is planning to negotiate with representatives from Amazon, eBay and other major international brands.
This is a second attempt by the company owners to conduct an international expansion. In 2010, the retailer has changed their brand name from Oggi to oodji and began opening stores in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovenia, but in 2015 all 16 stores were closed.
In Russia, oodji owns more than 300 stores which brought about 8.2 billion roubles ($143 million in revenue) in 2015.
