US President-elect Donald Trump said that the US and Russia should forget about the hackings that dominated the news cycle before and after his election victory, Reuters reported.

"I think we ought to get on with our lives,” Trump said. “I think that computers have complicated our lives very greatly.”

Trump was openly skeptical of information about the cyber attacks on American political institutions during the presidential elections, which US intelligence agencies claim were carried out by Russian hackers.

US President Barack Obama's administration is planning to announce new measures against Russia in connection with cyber attacks on American political institutions.
