Russian weapons manufacturer Techmash announced that the US military and law enforcement agencies have expressed significant interest in its non-lethal weapons, according to the company’s press service.

Sergey Rusakov, Techmash’s general director, said that they had shown particular interest in the “multi-functional, non-lethal OSA pistol, which is designed for active self-defense, sending signals and lighting flares.”

Rusakov added that the company was looking into securing further partnership with the US to deliver non-lethal weapons and Legion riot shields.

In December 2016, sheriffs working in the state of Arizona purchased over 60 OSA pistols and 10,000 rounds for them.
