The Beauty of the Far East: Russia’s Most Photogenic Peninsula

Wildlife photographer Vladimir Medvedev recently returned from Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula and is in a hurry to share his footage.

Medvedev, a past winner of a BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year award, hopes to hold an exhibition of his works in the art gallery On Solyanka in late February and he is currently raising money on the crowdfunding platform. Medvedev hopes to raise about one million roubles ($16,700), which will be spent on organising the exhibition and printing large-format photos. In addition to the images, the exhibition will have videos made with the help of drones, a GoPro camera and time-lapse technology.
