Inspectors from the Department of Natural Reserve Protection were on duty when they saw a mother elk with two babies in the water. The baby elks failed to cross the river due to the current and went back to the shore. Their mother meanwhile continued on her way across the river and hid in a bush while the inspectors transported the shivering little elks by boat. After rescuing the animals, the staff made sure not to interfere with the touching family reunion.
