A team consisting of three Russians and a Polish citizen began their round-the-world flight on a helicopter, the 360 Channel reported on Tuesday.
After almost two years of preparation, spouses Maxim and Natalia Sotnikov, Mikhail Movshin and Marcin Shambovski from Poland started their journey from Konakovo airfield of Tver region, Russia. Copters of the 360 Channel have captured the very beginning of their astonishing trip.
Travellers will need to overcome almost 40,000 kilometres, while spending close to a month and a half in the sky.
A helicopter will fly over the territories of Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany and Great Britain. Then the aircraft will cross the Atlantic Ocean, reach Chukotka peninsula and will continue its journey across Russia by returning to their take off Konakovo airfield.
